MAD Designs is a store mostly for men, but does have an impressive collection of female shapes and a few hair styles for the ladies. There are hundreds of shapes for men and women. For men there is an International collection of shapes featuring shapes from the Middle East, North Africa and West Asia. All shapes include styling cards. There are six skin styles for men, several collections of male poses and a good selection of eyes.

Alphamale & Blacklace

Alphamale and Blacklace is a nice his and her's shopping stop. The men's clothes are well above average but the women's clothes are, well, average. The amount of Second Life talent invested in women's apparel manages to make any design that may be great on its own appear meek in comparison. Blacklace falls victim with the traditional, if not old fashioned styles. I may be biased in that I don't care for the overly airbrushed look of the Blacklace models. Adam Lambert kept coming to mind.

In addition to the apparel for men and women the shops offer women's jewelry by Aluinn, costume skins by Alite, men's hair by Mad Designs and men's shoes by Original Sin.

Quality Designs

OMG. I love German designers like Jessie Auer. I feel bad that the name of the store "Quality Designs" does not do justice to the merchandise. But I'm not sure the German, "Qualitätsentwürfe" is any better of a name.

I visited this store because I saw a vendor for an outfit somewhere else. I am soooo glad I made the journey. Four floors of Gothic/fantasy clothing and accessories for men and women. Just be careful of the castle ghosts.

Grasp & Sweetaholic

I came across these stores via their ad on the front of the "All" tab within the Second Life client's search. The stores offer group gifts, great looking photos, and models displaying items. The stores play rocking dance music that is a bit much for shopping.

This is a perfect spot to shop for Japanese Board Shorts and Bikinis, jackets, tees, special kimono sets with updates, about 1,800 different fans, umbrellas, zouri (flat and thonged Japanese sandals) and gift cards. While there I ran into Gin Rodex who I think looks hotter than Brad Pitt.
